FAQ 1: Can you help with found or injured wildlife?

We are not licensed to assist with wildlife and unfortunately, the closest wildlife rehabber to our area is WSU in Pullman.

It is easy to mistake healthy wildlife for one that may be orphaned or injured. If you find injured wildlife, seek help from WSU's 24-hour wildlife hotline at 509-335-0711.

FAQ 2: Can you help with Stray cats and dogs?

We specialize in small animals such as rabbits, rodents, reptiles, and birds. We do not assist with cats or dogs.

If you've found a stray cat or dog, we recommend taking them to a local vet clinic to check for a microchip and posting in one of our local lost and found pet groups

FAQ 3: Which vet do you use?

For day-to-day and routine care, we use Dr. Cooper at VCA. She rotates between VCA Vineyard in Kennewick and VCA AMC in Richland. Pet Medical Center in Pasco and Paws, Claws, and Hooves in West Richland also see exotic animals.

For rabbit spays/neuters, we use Sagehills Vet in Othello.

FAQ 4: HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW SMALL ANIMAL?

Whether you adopted from us or another source, we're happy to offer guidance to help your new pet thrive.

There’s a lot of information online—unfortunately, not all of it is accurate. Below are the care guides and resources we share with our adopters to ensure pets receive proper, up-to-date care. We hope you find them helpful!
